Take a Day Off

I know it probably sounds lame since I don't have full time out-of-home job, but sometimes I just need a day off. No morning carpool, no cooking, cleaning, laundry, appointments, phone calls or obligations. So this month I am going to schedule my day off. I think I'll call it Pajama Day.
I'll need to stock up on some reading materials and make ahead some heat and eat meals for the family, but that's not a lot of work for a much needed break. It will be a sort of 'mental health'day.
The possibilities are endless...sleep late, coffee, reading, watch the 6 hour A&E Pride and Prejudice miniseries, color with Wil, afternoon tea...yep, sounds like a plan. I encourage all of you to try it out too. Let me know how it works out and I'll be sure to do the same.
Of course, I don't have a date nailed down yet...I've already had to change it twice! Typical. :-)

Today's Glass Half-Full: "With our human nature, we say, 'What did I do to deserve this?' With God's nature, we say, 'What is God doing in this?'"
